Melbourne, VIC - Smart Urban Properties Australia (SUPA) is joining forces with the Victorian division of Harvey Norman Commercial (HNCVictoria) to form a strategic partnership that will change the face of smart apartments.

Driving the evolution of smart apartments to new heights, SUPA and HNCVictoria will combine their expertise to provide customers with superior access to innovative smart apartment packages. This includes keyless entry smart lock systems, automated lighting, blinds and climate control.

“Demand for smart apartments continues to grow so we’re excited to be aligning with such a respected name in the industry to make it more accessible to apartment owners, developers and builders across Victoria,” said SUPA's Chief Strategy Officer, James Dunstan. “Both SUPA and HNCVictoria share a vision of making smarter, safer, and more sustainable properties accessible to everyone, and this partnership is a significant step towards realising that vision.”

A pilot project will see the collaboration come to life at a Fitzroy-based residential development, Fabbrica from PACE Development Group, where owners will enjoy effortless keyless entry to activate access for the main entry, carparks and their individual apartments.

Future residents have the opportunity to upgrade to an integrated smart home automation package with automated lighting, blinds, climate, visitor entry and deliveries as well as audio visual entertainment - all controlled via an easy-to-use phone app.

HNCVictoria’s director Glenda Bailey, added that, "Having SUPA on board with its extensive prop-tech expertise truly complements our existing offering for commercial customers - helping them differentiate their developments and elevate the occupier experience to attract purchasers.”

In addition to establishing a gateway into smart apartments, SUPA is extending its reach into embedded energy, private fibre networks and building technology. By uniting super-speed fibre, renewables, mobility solutions and in-building prop-tech, SUPA is committed to enhancing multi-occupancy properties for a smarter, safer and more sustainable future.

SUPA and HNCVictoria’s smart apartment packages can be experienced by appointment in the display suite, located at 4 Central Boulevard Port Melbourne VIC 3207, open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm.
